As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm of Acara Hospice, the Acara Hospice Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals with terminal illnesses and their families through compassionate care, meaningful experiences, and practical support. Meeting Needs,
Creating  Memories

Through our Patient Wish Fund, we meet one-time needs that bring comfort, relief, and joy to hospice patients and their families. From groceries and essential comfort items to meaningful wishes and special experiences, we help make the time patients have as comfortable and meaningful as possible.

Providing Hospice Education that Empowers

We invest in community education and outreach to help individuals and families better understand hospice and end-of-life care. Through free education, resources, and community events, we provide information about hospice services, advance care planning, grief, and caregiving—helping families feel more informed and prepared when it matters most.

Building a Hospice House for Our Community

Our biggest goal is to build a Community Hospice House for the Brazos Valley—a peaceful, welcoming place for patients who need somewhere to receive end-of-life care, regardless of which hospice provider they choose. Built by our community, for our community, it will be a place where patients and families are surrounded by comfort, dignity, and compassionate care when it matters most.
